Newborn Photography FAQ’s
When is the best time to do newborn photos?
Depending on which type of session you book, it is ideal to plan your newborn session before baby reaches 2 weeks old. This is when baby is still mostly sleepy and will still be able to be posed for photos without waking up.
How soon should I schedule my newborn photos?
It is never too early to schedule your session. We do try to accommodate last minute booking request, but it is best to schedule your session about a month prior to your due date.
What if my baby comes early or late?
Because there is no way to predict exactly when your baby will arrive, we limit how many newborn session we book a month so that we can always reschedule should your little one decide to come earlier or later.
What kind of editing do you do for newborn photography?
All of the images that you will receive are considered “ fully edited “. This means that they have been edited with for exposure & adjustments as well as my artistic styling of the photos. I also do very light skin retouching on newborn photos. This includes things like dry skin & flake removal, skin smoothing, and jaundiced skin correction. The goal is not to change how your baby looks and simply remove things that show up more in photos than they do in real life.
